"Taking one step at a time towards recovery"
The month of May is Guillain-Barre Syndrome Awareness (GBS). Take the time to help and support someone you know with GBS or has recovered from GBS. Spread information by educating people what GBS is. It can effect any age and at any time. If you would like to make a donation to help GBS patients who do not have health insurance and/or expenses with walkers, canes and wheelchairs, please email us at:fightgbs@gmail.com. Thank You!
The new
Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital in Austin, Texas
Back in November of 2008 through January 2009, I was transferred to Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital in Austin, Texas from Seton Main Medical Center Austin. Ready to undergo my physical therapy from Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS). It was my next step in my life to get my strength and body back to functioning again. I couldn't have done it without the many physical, occupational, speech therapists, nurses, clinical nursing assistants and staff who supported and encouraged me to get to where I am today. By the grace of our Lord who works miracles each day and also works through these precious people in my life, I am so happy that they have built a new Hospital with state-of-the-art equipment. Its a phenomenal hospital that will take care of the many people who need that guiding hand and motivation to begin their new lives.
The new location is at: 700 West 45th Street, Austin, Texas
